Elcold have been making freezers for over 50 years in Denmark, and have constantly focused on improving their products. Over the last year, Elcold have sold hundreds of their XLE freezers to countries throughout the world including Germany, Belgium, Austria, The Czech Republic, United Arab Emirates and Great Britain. New Zealand is now their second largest market for these highly efficient freezers.


REALIABILITY and VERY LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION are the most important features of Elcold's XLE range. Perfect for storing large quantities of surplus food, not only do you have the security of knowing that the energy being used is at a minimum, which saves you money on your electricity bill, but should you have a power cut, your food will be kept in a safe, frozen state for several days (with the lid closed or opening of the lid kept to a minimum).




Elcold's XLE Chest Freezers have fantastic feaures, including a lockable lid for secure storage of your freezer's contents, an internal light, a front display panel showing the status of the freezer, a removeable tray to catch defrost water from the front drainage hole and removable internal storage baskets.

NOTE:  All GRAM and ELCOLD refrigeration units must be powered by either mains power or a pure sinewave inverter.
The use of a modified sinewave or squarewave inverter will void any warranty claim and may result in damage to the unit.

Easy To Use Baskets

Hanging baskets make access easy, or simply remove the support bracket, to place the basket at the bottom of the freezer.

Fast Freeze Feature

By pushing the amber button located on the front of the freezer, you activate the fast freezer function which will keep the compressor running continuously for up to 24hr when you must turn it off.

Counter Sprung Lid

The lids on all models are counter-sprung for easy opening and loading of your freezer.

Convenient Removable Divider Tray

This tray doubles as a water catching tray during the manual defrosting of your Elcold freezer.

Manual Defrost

Simply put the divider tray under the external drain hole, pull out the knob, and watch your defrost water flow out. No need to access an internal drain plug.
