NOTE:  All GRAM and ELCOLD refrigeration units must be powered by either mains power or a pure sinewave inverter.
The use of a modified sinewave or squarewave inverter will void any warranty claim and may result in damage to the unit.

 

SERVICE AND REPAIR FOR GRAM AND ELCOLD REFRIGERATION PRODUCTS

If you have a fridge or freezer that is faulty, please initially contact the Dealer whom you purchased the goods from. The apparent fault may be easily remedied or the exact nature of the fault established.

If the unit is not able to be repaired
 then please contact us to discuss service options. If we cannot sort out your problem over the phone, then the goods will have to be sent to us for checking.  

You, the customer, are responsible for paying the freight on goods returned for service/repair. This covers both warranty and non-warranty returns. Independent Power (NZ) Ltd will cover the cost of freight for the goods being returned to you within New Zealand.

When equipment is returned to us under Warranty, we require proof of purchase, with date purchased and a copy of the original purchase invoice.

For non-Warranty goods, we will provide an estimate of the cost of repair before proceeding with the necessary repair work.

Payment in full is required before the goods are returned to you.

Payment can be made via Internet Banking, Visa/Mastercard or Cheque (requires clearance before the goods are returned). If collecting the goods, we have EFTPOS facilities available for payment purposes.

Please contact us to see if there is an authorised refrigeration service agent in your area who could undertake any repairs for you.
